VW Bus T1

On June 22nd, 1967, this station wagon was expanded at the renowned Westfalia company (CODE 523) with the desired special equipment. The two side doors (cargo doors right, CODE 231) provide easy access to the interior, where the bus is still home to the original Westfalia camping equipment, also known as “without side windows”. (CODE 108) The wooden extensions are fully functional and in really good condition. The pop-up roof is technically and visually perfect. (CODE C42) The original roof rack rounds off the equipment and opens up further practical possibilities. Also equipped with the components of the “North America Export Package” such as mileage speedometer, sealed beams, hazard lights, seat belts, tinted windshield, front bumper and 2-circuit brake system, this bus was delivered to the USA, Jacksonville, Florida (CODE UJ) The bus was brought back to Germany from sunny California in 2013 and has been in the hands of a single owner since then. Thanks to the performance-enhanced 1,600 cc engine with Dellorto double carburetors and over 90 PS as well as a beautiful exhaust system, the bus is ready for longer tours and provides dynamic driving pleasure. Due to the slight lowering, it is also an absolute eye-catcher visually. The 175 tires complement the overall sporty appearance. Due to the received restoration with repainting, the bus is almost perfect again today. The consistently good condition of the restored T1 is confirmed by a professional report from 2014, which, in addition to the very good interior, gives the bus an overall grade of 2+. A rare opportunity not only to buy a restored and completely preserved T1 Westfalia campervan, but a complete attitude to life.
